Meet the Founder, Lauren Fagan!

Hello! I’m Lauren Fagan, the founder of Koi-B Collective and a passionate educator with over 11 years of teaching experience. My journey in education began in early childhood, where I discovered the joy of nurturing curiosity and creativity in young learners. Over the years, I’ve expanded my role as both an art teacher and an advocate for whole-child learning, blending academics, creativity, and enrichment to help every student thrive.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Psychology, and I’m also a Board Certified Christian Counselor, certified through CCHMC. These experiences have shaped my holistic approach to teaching, supporting not only academic growth but also emotional, social, and spiritual development.

My passion is creating inclusive learning spaces where all children, including those in the homeschool and special needs community, feel valued and capable. Through art, core classes, and enrichment programs, I strive to spark wonder, build confidence, and encourage lifelong learning.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me sketching, painting, exploring the beach, or spending time with my family. I believe education should be inspiring, joyful, and deeply connected to community, and it’s an honor to walk alongside families in their learning journey.
